Description:
The MDM Data Analyst I plays a crucial role in the maintenance of master data for customers and products within the U. S. Commercial Operations. Reporting to the MDM/Data Governance Manager, this position focuses on ensuring high data quality, defining processes, and adhering to business rules. The Analyst will collaborate with various business area leads to ensure that master data remains consistent, accurate, and compliant across applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Steward Team Management (35%): Oversee daily MDM data steward activities, execute ad hoc data requests, and participate in MDM User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Operational Excellence (45%): Define and maintain MDM Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs), ensuring the accuracy of master data and harmonizing data from multiple sources.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration (20%): Work with the Commercial Ops Governance team and IT to manage MDM application changes, resolve issues, and assist in defining master data sourcing strategies.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Finance, or related fields; an advanced degree is preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector.
- Experience with Informatica MDM/IDD is a plus.
- Knowledge of Pharmaceutical Commercial operations is beneficial.
