Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive mechanical designs utilizing SOLIDWORKS
  • Design components suitable for 3D printing, CNC machining, and injection molding
  • Create cohesive electro-mechanical assemblies
  • Generate and evaluate manufacturing and assembly documentation
  • Support fabrication processes through 3D printing, CNC machining, and vacuum forming
  • Safely operate hand and power tools for metal and woodwork
  • Construct and test prototypes for complex systems
  • Diagnose and resolve design challenges
  • Engage in design reviews and offer constructive feedback
  • Work in partnership with electrical and software engineers throughout the development cycle
