Our commitment to continuous evolution and innovation drives us to seek out talented, dedicated, and passionate individuals to become part of our dynamic team.

Our Water Team in Ireland is at the forefront of executing essential water infrastructure projects nationwide, partnering with Uisce Éireann (Irish Water) to deliver on major national programs. As a Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Resident Engineer, you will collaborate with Uisce Éireann’s framework providers to guarantee that every project meets the highest quality standards. Your work will encompass significant water and wastewater infrastructure projects as well as non-infrastructure initiatives, including the construction of new treatment plants, upgrades, pumping stations, national generator programs, electrical upgrades, and capital maintenance projects throughout the Republic of Ireland.

In alignment with Uisce Éireann and AECOM’s dedication to safety, you will serve as a safety ambassador in this role. You will actively promote a culture of safety and ensure adherence to all safety policies and standards during construction projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Specializing in the Mechanical & Electrical components of construction.
  • Leading on-site infrastructure project delivery for Uisce Éireann, ensuring compliance with health & safety, quality, environmental, program, and cost standards.
  • Reviewing and monitoring contractor documentation and performance, including MEICA design submissions, RAMS, quality plans, FDS, commissioning plans, and adherence to contractual obligations.
