Opportunity Overview

  • Ensuring that problems are computationally intensive and require numerical methods or iterative solutions;
  • Creating problems focused on system design, optimization, and analysis;
  • Using real research questions or practical engineering applications as the foundation for problems;
  • Validating solutions through Python using standard engineering libraries;
  • Clearly documenting problem statements with verified accurate answers.

Ideal Candidate Profile

This role is ideal for engineers experienced in Python who are open to part-time, non-permanent projects. Candidates should ideally possess:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields;
  • Proficiency in Python for numerical validation, with knowledge of MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, or other relevant programming languages as alternatives;
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience, including applied, research, or teaching experience;
  • A solid understanding of practical engineering constraints and approximations;
  • Strong command of written English (C1+ level);
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CMME, SAS Certifications, CAP) and experience with international or applied projects are considered advantageous.
