Role overview
The Mechanical Engineer will design and improve key systems for Aquablu’s hydration products, including cooling, carbonation, and dispensing mechanisms. This role emphasizes the creation of reliable and efficient solutions that advance Aquablu’s mission in the water industry.
Main responsibilities
- Design and refine systems for cooling, carbonation, and dispensing with an emphasis on reliability and efficiency.
- Lead the development of a scalable framework for mechanical engineering projects.
- Integrate thermal and cooling systems into product development cycles.
- Set initial parameters, oversee testing, and iterate on prototypes for optimal performance.
- Analyze field feedback and product data to inform design improvements.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop factory tests and solve multidisciplinary challenges.
- Manage projects by establishing timelines and delivering solutions that support company goals.
- Experiment with new ideas and approaches to advance innovation in the water industry.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical engineering, with a record of solving complex problems and driving innovation.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, fluid, and thermal systems, along with experience in mechatronics and hydraulics.
- Ability to design scalable solutions that address future needs.
- Skilled at prioritizing tasks for effective project delivery.
- Proficient in using mCAD software for system and prototype design.
- Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are an advantage.
