Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, etc.) and FEA tools. Strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes. Experience with prototyping and testing of mechanical systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to mentor junior engineers.

About this Role:

We are looking for both Mid to Senior Level Mechanical Engineers to spearhead the design, development, and optimization of mechanical systems for our advanced drones and public safety solutions. In this pivotal role, you will drive technical innovation, mentor fellow engineers, and ensure that our products adhere to the highest standards of performance, durability, and manufacturability. This position encompasses full lifecycle development, from initial concept to final validation, guaranteeing reliability and performance in safety-critical drone operations. As an integral member of the engineering team, you will work cross-functionally to integrate mechanical, electrical, and software systems, contributing to the evolution of our technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead hardware development from inception to completion - encompassing specification, design, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing.

  • Collaborate effectively with software, electrical, perception, controls, and manufacturing engineers.

  • Design both flight hardware and test setups to validate design concepts.

  • Establish top-level design architectures and implementation methodologies for the engineering team, clearly articulating design decisions to internal stakeholders.

  • Conduct and document design analysis and testing results; utilize data-driven decision-making to finalize key product features.

  • Engage closely with Industrial Design partners to ensure the final product aligns with design intent and meets customer needs.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the broader mechanical engineering team.
