Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting in the design and analysis of mechanical systems for water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, and related infrastructure.
  • Performing engineering calculations, including pump sizing, hydraulic modeling, thermal performance analysis, and air/gas system design.
  • Producing technical documentation, such as mechanical plans, specifications, and design reports.
  • Designing mechanical building systems, including HVAC, gas, plumbing, fire suppression, and air conveyance.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and integrated project delivery.
  • Reviewing contractor submittals and shop drawings, and supporting field inspections to ensure compliance with design standards and codes.
  • Integrating energy-efficient solutions into mechanical system planning and participating in permit application processes as necessary.
