We are excited to invite applications for the role of Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic mechanical team. This is a site-based role located in Dublin.

The Mechanical Engineer will play a crucial role in overseeing technical project delivery, which includes reviewing tender documentation, selecting plant and materials, managing submittals, coordinating services, and supervising the production of coordinated drawings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage client communications effectively.
  • Oversee design management tasks.
  • Coordinate with contractors to ensure seamless integration of services.
  • Develop method statements and conduct risk assessments for construction activities.
  • Ensure all HVAC deliverables align with project specifications and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the project team to schedule and sequence pipework installations to meet deadlines.
  • Commercially assess and manage the project from estimation handover through to technical procurement of equipment and specialist subcontractors.
  • Support the management of installation works to uphold high standards throughout the project lifecycle, from installation through to final commissioning and handover.
  • Assist in documenting and costing variations in work scope, and prepare monthly valuations and final accounts.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role within a mechanical and electrical contracting environment is essential.
  • Proven expertise in design management is required.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
