Mindrift bridges the gap between specialists and project-based AI opportunities offered by leading tech companies, focusing on the testing, evaluation, and enhancement of AI systems. Please note that participation in these projects is temporary and project-based, not permanent employment.

What This Opportunity Entails:

Contributors will engage in unique tasks for each project, which may include:

  • Designing original computational engineering challenges that replicate real-world engineering workflows;
  • Creating problems that require Python programming to address engineering calculations and simulations;
  • Ensuring tasks are computationally intensive and necessitate numerical methods or iterative solutions;
  • Formulating challenges related to system design, optimization, and analysis;
  • Base challenges on actual research issues or practical applications from engineering practice;
  • Validating solutions using Python and established engineering libraries;
  • Clearly documenting problem statements and providing verified correct answers.

Candidate Profile:

This role is ideal for engineers with Python experience who are interested in part-time, non-permanent project engagements. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field;
  • Proficiency in Python for numerical validation; familiarity with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, domain-specific libraries, Stata, or experience in any programming language will be considered;
  • At least 2 years of professional experience, which can include applied, research, or teaching roles;
  • A strong grasp of practical engineering constraints and approximations;
  • Excellent written English skills (C1 level or higher);
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CMME, SAS Certifications, CAP) and experience in international or applied projects are advantageous.

How It Works:

Submit an application → Complete qualification assessments → Join a project → Carry out tasks → Receive payment.

Project Time Commitment:

During active project phases, tasks are estimated to require approximately 10-20 hours per week, based on project demands. This is an estimate and not a guaranteed workload.

Compensation:

Contributors can earn up to $50 per hour, depending on their skill level and contribution pace. Compensation may vary by project based on its scope, complexity, and required expertise. Please note that other projects on the platform may offer different earning levels based on their unique requirements.
