Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversee integration build flow and testing operations. Assess proposed designs for manufacturability and integration. Collaborate with engineers and technicians to enhance manufacturing and automation processes. Develop and optimize assembly procedures based on insights gained. Facilitate daily product integration and testing activities. Analyze non-conformances to identify root causes and foster system improvements. Partner with upstream and downstream teams to implement system-level enhancements. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. At least 1 year of hands-on mechanical design or manufacturing experience (internships and academic projects are applicable). PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Master's degree in mechanical engineering or related field. Experience with the integration and testing of optical, mechanical, propulsion, thermal, electrical, and/or structural systems. Familiarity with documentation and configuration management. Experience formulating test plans and procedures with clear go/no-go criteria. Previous experience in a production environment. Proven engineering intuition and comfort working in uncertain scenarios. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Willingness to travel as needed.
