RESPONSIBILITIESAssist in the design, analysis, and optimization of mechanical structures, mechanisms, and assemblies for LEO/GEO satellites, small satellite platforms, and on-orbit servicing vehicles, ensuring compliance with performance, mass, and reliability criteria. Contribute to the development of spacecraft structural systems from concept through trade studies, prototyping, and delivery of flight hardware, under senior engineers' mentorship. Support the design of primary and secondary structures for launch load environments, ensuring adherence to launch vehicle ICD requirements including sine burst, random vibration, and shock. Participate in the design of spacecraft mechanisms and deployment systems, such as hinges, hold-down and release mechanisms, and other moving assemblies intended for on-orbit operations. Assist in the integration and packaging of electronics assemblies and avionics hardware within the spacecraft structure.

YOUR MISSION

As a Mechanical Engineer (I-II) at True Anomaly, you will lead the design and development of next-generation spacecraft that will shape the future of space security and sustainability. Your responsibilities will include the mechanical design of flight systems for LEO/GEO satellites, small satellite platforms, and on-orbit servicing vehicles, all operating under some of the most challenging engineering conditions. This is a unique chance to influence vehicle architecture from inception, converting mission requirements into reliable flight-ready hardware that secures space access for the U. S. and its allies.
