Role overview

The Mechanical Engineering Technician position is based in El Cajon, CA. This role supports the design, development, diagnostics, and testing of equipment, tools, engines, and machinery used across dnllc. Daily work includes hands-on problem solving and close collaboration with other teams to improve existing equipment and help bring new products from concept to production.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test equipment, tools, engines, and mechanical systems
  • Diagnose and address engineering challenges as they arise
  • Work with multiple teams to enhance equipment performance
  • Support the transition of new products from concept to production
  • Take ownership of mechanical engineering for all company equipment
  • Optimize mechanical systems for efficiency and reliability
