Role Overview: We are on the lookout for a highly skilled Principal or Senior Principal Mechanical Engineer to spearhead the design, development, and integration of cutting-edge missile and UAV launcher systems. This pivotal role encompasses the complete mechanical design lifecycle—from initial concept development through to production and ongoing support—of launcher systems that cater to solid rocket motor effectors, turbine-powered UAVs, and electrically powered UAV systems across mobile ground and maritime platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and oversee the technical management of subcontracts. This position is ideal for engineers who excel in fast-paced, hands-on environments and are adept at managing hardware from concept to field deployment. The successful candidate will possess robust hands-on mechanical CAD and system integration experience, a proven track record in launcher design and integration, a deep understanding of ruggedized hardware design, and the capability to work independently while guiding multidisciplinary engineering teams.
