We are thrilled to present a remarkable opportunity for a Mechanical Project Manager to become a part of our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with designing, organizing, leading, coordinating, and overseeing all facets of Mechanical project delivery, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage and supervise all elements of the mechanical scope of works, ensuring alignment with project specifications, timelines, and budgets.
· Analyze, monitor, and manage critical milestones to avert schedule delays.
· Evaluate construction proposals, including scope and cost assessments.
· Lead and mentor project teams, comprising engineers, package managers, supervisors, and foremen.
· Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, to maintain clear communication and alignment on objectives.
· Work closely with design teams and subcontractors to ensure project delivery adheres to scope, budget, and timelines.
· Drive productivity through effective weekly and daily work planning.
· Coordinate daily site operations in conjunction with package managers.
· Oversee subcontractor performance, monitoring progress against schedules and manpower requirements.
· Facilitate coordination among subcontractors operating in shared work areas to maintain smooth, safe, and efficient workflows.
· Prepare comprehensive weekly reports, including incident/accident reports, schedule updates (Planned vs. Actual), a 12-week lookahead, industrial relations issues, procurement forecasts (including long-lead items), a weekly variation log (issued to the Quantity Surveyor), and notifications of any delays, disruptions, or risks to planned activities.
· Compile and issue weekly progress reports that consolidate updates from supervisors, highlighting progress, risks, and material delivery issues.
