Required ExperienceProficient in understanding and applying codes such as Eurocode 3 and BS EN 1090;Familiarity with permissible stress design codes for structural supports to piping is advantageous but not mandatory;Experience in designing access platforms for mechanical equipment and/or complex steelwork for pipe supports;Ability to plan and prioritize work effectively;Sound knowledge of standard steelwork components, including materials, profiles, strength, and joint designs, ensuring compliance with applicable design codes;Practical experience in the installation of steelwork components on-site;Strong understanding of tolerances;Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with project team members.

Mechanical Structural Analyst Engineer

Contract Duration: 12 months.

Location: Warrington / Hybrid (minimum 3 days in the office).

Start Date: ASAP.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct design calculations adhering to industry-standard design codes and specifications, including assessment of earthquake loads;
  • Develop, assess, and choose optimal design solutions based on cost-effectiveness while ensuring compliance with space constraints, customer specifications, and UK regulations;
  • Collaborate with the Computer Aided Design (CAD) team to generate precise equipment fabrication drawings;
  • Create detailed equipment specifications;
  • Deliver presentations of designs during internal Technical Reviews;
  • Coordinate with fabricators to implement the designs effectively.
