Role Overview
The Mechanical Test Technician works on site in Moses Lake, Washington, supporting the rapid development and testing of reusable rocket systems. This role centers on hands-on construction, setup, and troubleshooting of test stand hardware for fluid, electronic, and structural systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and assemble test stand systems using power tools, hand tools, and standard workshop equipment
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and verbal instructions to fabricate parts and assemblies
- Prepare the test facility for operations and support general test activities
- Troubleshoot hardware and facility issues related to testing
- Work closely with design and test engineers to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Adapt quickly to new challenges and processes in a collaborative team environment
Location
This position is based at the Moses Lake Test Site in Washington.
