We are seeking a passionate Mechatronics Engineer who excels at the convergence of mechanical design, electronic systems, and control engineering. In this role, you will transform complex robotic hardware into reality through seamless integration and hands-on execution. Your responsibilities will span the entire lifecycle, from conceptual prototypes to production-ready assemblies. Collaborating closely with diverse teams, you will integrate sensors, actuators, and control systems into high-performance hardware while developing and fine-tuning closed-loop behaviors in real-time with operational machines. As part of a dynamic and agile team, your designs will swiftly transition from the drawing board to the manufacturing floor, where you will validate, troubleshoot, and enhance them.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop mechanical and electromechanical systems utilizing CAD, ranging from rapid prototypes to production-intent assemblies.
Collaborate effectively on the integration of sensors, actuators, and control systems within mechanical assemblies, guiding them from concept through to validation.
Create and execute closed-loop control architectures for electromechanical systems, working alongside software and robotics team members.
Configure and integrate motor controllers, including servo and stepper drives, encoder/resolver interfacing, and closed-loop motion tuning.
Engage in hands-on work with hardware, building, assembling, testing, and iterating through prototyping and initial production phases.
Support fabrication efforts across various technologies, including machining, sheet metal, welding, 3D printing, fixtures, and tooling.
Collaborate with external vendors and contract manufacturers to meet development and production requirements.
Make informed trade-offs between performance, cost, and manufacturability to drive successful project outcomes.
