The MEP Engineer plays a critical role in the oversight and execution of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems within the Project. This position demands a high level of technical prowess, exceptional coordination skills, and substantial experience in high-rise building projects to guarantee that all MEP implementations adhere to the project specifications, local authority regulations, and international standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate MEP designs, shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements to ensure alignment with project specifications.
- Supervise MEP installation activities on-site to ensure compliance with quality, safety standards, and approved blueprints.
- Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and various disciplines to rectify technical challenges and conflicts.
- Ensure MEP installations conform to local regulations, codes, and the project’s specifications.
- Assist in the planning, scheduling, and monitoring of MEP tasks to achieve project milestones.
- Engage in inspections, testing, commissioning, and the handover process of MEP systems.
- Identify and address construction or design issues, implementing corrective measures as necessary.
- Compile technical reports, progress updates, and site evaluations for management review.
- Support the MEP Manager in fulfilling overall project objectives related to cost, time, and quality.
