Key Responsibilities

As a Mid-Level Project Engineer, your main responsibilities will include designing customized test benches, structuring experiments, and analyzing mechanical failures within our Industrial Testing Laboratory. Your primary focus will be the mechanical design of laboratory equipment, including the precise sizing and specification of industrial machines and components (such as motors, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, and bearings), delineating test plans, and conducting technical analyses of results. This hands-on role necessitates active involvement in the execution and operation of physical tests, which is crucial for you to gain practical insights and develop a deep understanding of our mechanical systems and the phenomena we investigate.

Our state-of-the-art laboratory infrastructure produces substantial value for the development of our AI models. You will play an essential role in fostering the continuous enhancement of these facilities. By ensuring that our mechanical setups are perpetually optimized, you will contribute to creating safer, more reliable, and innovative testing environments, which directly impacts the physics-based datasets utilized for machine learning and predictive analytics.

You will also work in conjunction with our testing and data science teams to support accurate and reliable physical data collection through meticulously designed experiments. While your primary focus will be on mechanical projects and analytical planning, you may occasionally assist with data acquisition tasks to bolster broader lab operations. This position requires a proactive mindset and strong analytical skills to ensure our physical infrastructure operates at peak performance, capturing complex mechanical behaviors throughout our testing cycles.
