Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:Design and model mechanical structures and components for satellites. Conduct structural analyses to meet performance and reliability standards. Optimize designs for weight efficiency, material selection, and manufacturability. Assess and select suitable materials and processes for mechanical systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical systems with electrical, thermal, and propulsion subsystems. Engage in the assembly, integration, and testing (AIT) of satellite hardware. Execute environmental testing, including statics, vibration, shock, and thermal vacuum tests to validate designs. Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including engineering drawings, specifications, and test reports. Maintain meticulous records of design modifications, test outcomes, and other engineering documentation. Create detailed reports and presentations to share design concepts, analysis results, and recommendations with stakeholders.
