The Role
The Product Engineering team is on the lookout for a talented (Senior) Back-end Engineer who can make a significant impact for our customers. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating critical platform features. Primary Responsibilities
- Develop robust web applications primarily utilizing NodeJS and Python.
- Contribute to the design of technical architecture for new products and enhancements.
- Engage in close collaboration with fellow software engineers, product managers, and designers.
- Support team members through mentorship, code pairing, and code reviews.
- Exhibit a proactive and results-driven attitude.
Requirements
Ideal Background
- At least 3 years of experience in building and managing backend systems on a modern web stack.
- Proficient in backend development with at least one mainstream server-side programming language.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling principles.
- Experience with event-driven or data-intensive systems that handle high data volumes.
- Familiarity with analytics-focused data storage and large-scale querying techniques.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based infrastructure and scalable deployment models.
- Proven track record of building systems with scalability, availability, and reliability in mind.
- Excellent communication skills in English for effective collaboration with global teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating data from multiple external sources.
- Exposure to workflow orchestration or long-running backend processes.
- Familiarity with observability and testing in production environments.
- Experience incorporating AI-powered features in real-world applications.
- Background in marketing, analytics, or consumer-facing platforms.
- Passion for open-source technologies and community involvement.
