HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. Practical experience with Spark (Scala or Python) and Airflow. Strong grasp of modern data architectures (Data Lakehouse, Data Mesh, Data Fabric). Familiarity with Apache Iceberg and Trino (or equivalent storage/query layers). Proficient in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Good understanding of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Argo). Experience with testing, versioning, and observability practices.

In this role, you will be stationed onsite at the client’s location, playing a pivotal role in the design and advancement of their cutting-edge data platform.

This opportunity is perfect for Data Engineers eager to delve into modern data architectures, develop scalable data platforms, and collaborate with diverse cross-functional teams.

We are hiring for two levels:

  • Mid Level: 3+ years of experience
  • Senior Level: 5+ years, demonstrating strong leadership, project management skills, and a proactive project-driven approach

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, implement, and optimize a robust and scalable data platform utilizing technologies such as Spark, Apache Iceberg, Airflow, Trino, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Develop and industrialize data pipelines while applying CI/CD methodologies (GitHub Actions, Argo, automated testing, observability).
  • Assist internal teams in creating, optimizing, and operationalizing data workflows.
  • Integrate essential data management components, including metadata, lineage, and data dictionaries.
  • Contribute to the evolution of contemporary data architectures (Data Lakehouse, Data Mesh, Data Fabric).
  • Engage in sprint planning, technical documentation, and project tracking.
  • Collaborate with platform engineering, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to align with the enterprise data strategy.

Additional Senior Level Expectations:

  • Lead and coordinate project activities and priorities.
  • Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of platform enhancement initiatives.
  • Take charge of architectural decisions and suggest long-term enhancements.

Onsite Requirement: This position necessitates an onsite presence with our clients and partners to facilitate project execution and strengthen client relationships.
