Role overview
This Midcore Game Developer position is part of a new internal studio at Voodoo. The team is focused on refining a promising prototype into a successful market-ready title, building on strong core mechanics and gameplay. The role centers on advancing one of Voodoo’s latest midcore games.
What you will do
- Collaborate with small teams of Unity Game Developers and Artists
- Design and implement game logic and systems in C# within the Unity engine
- Adapt and enhance an existing codebase to improve functionality, stability, and performance
- Mentor team members and share technical knowledge
- Deliver high-quality work on schedule
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience working with Unity and strong C# skills
- Familiarity with Unity’s UI systems, animation, and particle systems
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking, especially for workflow and process improvements
- Background in game production, ideally in a studio or similar environment
- Experience identifying performance bottlenecks and optimizing memory, frame rates, and load times
- Interest in building engaging gameplay experiences
