Qualifications

Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field or equivalent professional experience. Minimum of 5 years in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Engineering position. Extensive experience with Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, or self-managed). Strong proficiency with core AWS services (such as EC2, S3, IAM, RDS). Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Helm). Comprehensive understanding of networking concepts (including VPCs, subnets, routing, firewalls, DNS). Proficient in infrastructure-as-code tools (like Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation). Experience with monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch). Strong scripting or programming skills (Python, Bash, or Go). Solid grasp of system security protocols and best practices. Preferred Qualifications:Understanding of SSO protocols such as SAML, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect. Experience in managing and tuning PostgreSQL in live environments. Familiarity with log aggregation tools (ELK, Loki, or Fluent Bit). Experience with CI/CD platforms like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI.

nix is hiring a Middle DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes) to help design, build, and manage the infrastructure supporting our platform. This role focuses on maintaining secure, efficient, and reliable systems to support smooth development and deployment in Spain.

What You Will Do

  • Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure using Kubernetes and AWS.
  • Improve CI/CD pipelines to speed up builds and deployments.
  • Monitor system performance and availability, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Administer and tune relational databases, with an emphasis on PostgreSQL.
  • Set up and manage secure authentication using SSO standards such as SAML, OIDC, and OAuth2.
  • Advance infrastructure as code practices with tools like Terraform and Ansible.
  • Apply security best practices across all infrastructure layers.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to support project goals.
  • Automate operational tasks to boost team productivity and reduce manual effort.
