Qualifications

Collaborate with mission engineers to design, develop, test, and implement satellite operation procedures, including commissioning and standard operations procedures. Investigate anomalies and collaborate with the mission operations and engineering teams to resolve issues safely. Participate in commanding activities related to our first five operational spacecraft. Assist in the development of tools and processes to enhance mission efficiency.

Mission Engineering Associate (Fall 2026)

Our Associate Engineer roles are typically twelve-week salaried positions aimed at graduates who have earned their bachelor's degree (or will do so before commencing with us). As a Mission Engineering Associate, you will tackle challenging problems and have the opportunity to engage in substantial projects that match the complexity and significance of those undertaken by our full-time staff. Previous Associate Engineers have been instrumental in designing and testing hardware/software that is destined for space on our inaugural satellite, with many continuing their journey at Astranis in full-time roles.
Successful candidates will demonstrate a proven history of projects within the aerospace sector and possess strong proficiency in Python.
