Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:Gain a thorough understanding of vehicle hardware and software architecture as an integrated operational system. Lead the planning and execution of structured field tests to assess vessel performance in areas such as autonomous navigation, perception, communications, and sensor integration. Collaborate with external partners to ensure complete hardware and software integration, including preliminary and end-to-end testing. Diagnose and troubleshoot autonomy, networking, and onboard systems in real-time during testing events. Implement effective solutions for testing, safety protocols, and system robustness to enhance operational efficiency. Oversee data logging and telemetry monitoring systems, ensuring data integrity for post-test analysis. Contribute to root cause analysis and issue triage processes following field anomalies, reporting to review boards to prevent recurring issues. Maintain autonomous vessels and testing environments using telemetry tools and onboard diagnostics to improve equipment reliability. Ensure testing procedures comply with DoD performance and safety standards as applicable.
