Job Overview
As a Mission Operations Specialist, you will coordinate and ensure the quality and effectiveness of the Mission Operations team’s deliverables. This role entails collaboration with team members, stakeholders, and various departments to achieve project and program goals aligned with our organizational objectives.
You will demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines and achieve targeted results both independently and collaboratively within your team.
Projects are defined as tasks culminating in a defined outcome or completion date, such as payload integration and functional demonstrations.
Programs refer to extended workflows, like continuous product enhancement and development strategies, such as supporting the ongoing testing and development of vessels like Corsair.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting the Team:
Drive one or more projects or product support programs towards success, e.g., ongoing R&D for Corsair.
Work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders to establish clear goals, objectives, and deliverables.
Track project progress, identify potential challenges or bottlenecks, and implement solutions as required.
Cultivate a collaborative and positive team atmosphere that encourages open communication, knowledge sharing, and continual improvement.
Offer guidance and support to team members, encompassing technical expertise, problem-solving, and career development coaching.
Supporting the Mission:
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including DoD customers, to facilitate communication, manage expectations, and ensure mission or program requirements are fulfilled. You will aid in crafting comprehensive mission plans, taking into account factors such as route optimization, environmental conditions, and risk management.
