Collaborate with the Developer Relations team to foster a supportive developer community that aids in learning the Mapbox platform across diverse platforms, use cases, industries, and skill levels. Introduce and engage developers with shared interests in the Mapbox platform or relevant challenges it addresses. Produce stimulating content, such as technical talks, blog posts, demos, and videos, to educate and inspire developers to utilize Mapbox. Assist Mapbox's product and engineering teams by sharing insights gained from developer interactions. Initiate programs within Mapbox to facilitate our product teams in showcasing their work to the developer community. Monitor and nurture contributions on external developer forums. Establish strategic objectives and track the performance metrics of evangelism activities. Contribute to the development of our documentation site, API playgrounds, product demos, developer tools, libraries, and other software initiatives.

The Developer Relations team at Mapbox is dedicated to inspiring and equipping developers who harness our Maps, Search, Navigation, and Data products. We strive to create and disseminate exceptional developer resources, including documentation, demos, tutorials, developer playgrounds, and training sessions. Our engagement with the Mapbox developer community spans online platforms and in-person events, as we continuously seek to enhance the developer experience and eliminate obstacles that may hinder their progress.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Developer Evangelist with a specialization in mobile app development. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for communication, be driven by data and user feedback, and demonstrate a commitment to operational excellence and accountability. This role will report directly to the Head of Developer Relations.
