In this key role, you will design unique commercial models and spearhead critical negotiations to address Deliveroo's most intricate growth challenges.Your ResponsibilitiesAs a member of the Global Business and Corporate Development (BCD) team, you will collaborate with a select group of skilled deal professionals responsible for managing Deliveroo’s most sophisticated partnerships, including those with DoorDash and Wolt, creating tailored solutions where traditional methods do not suffice.Your daily tasks will include:Originate Commercial Theses: Collaborate with Deliveroo leadership to identify growth barriers and formulate strategies that leverage partnerships for additional impact.Innovate from First Principles: Develop unprecedented commercial partnerships, crafting original deal structures for opportunities that defy conventional templates.Lead High-Stakes Negotiations: Serve as Deliveroo's primary representative in negotiations with senior executives at major global platforms and influential local market participants.Align Executive Leadership: Foster trusted relationships across Product, Finance, and Marketing to ensure the necessary internal resources and commitment for executing complex deals.Manage the Deal Progression: Collaborate closely with Legal to refine and finalize agreements, ensuring that terms provide a secure framework for successful long-term execution and measurable outcomes.Qualifications for SuccessThe ideal candidate will possess significant expertise in some of the following areas and demonstrate a keen interest in expanding their knowledge:Extensive Experience in Complex Dealmaking: A proven track record of successfully closing non-conventional, impactful deals.
