THE ROLE
As a Senior Staff Engineer on the Fleet Insights team, you will design the backend intelligence that oversees one of the world’s most sophisticated storage fleets. You will steer the technical direction for high-throughput observability systems, converting vast telemetry streams into automated root-cause analysis. Working alongside cross-functional architects, you will tackle systemic scalability challenges to ensure the global reliability of Pure Storage’s infrastructure.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Architect Scalable Intelligence: Develop and implement distributed, fault-tolerant systems for telemetry ingestion and real-time event detection, aiming for 99.9999% availability for mission-critical fleet observability.
Drive Technical Strategy: Lead architectural initiatives across teams that align long-term platform objectives with product innovation, ensuring our services scale with global data growth.
Lead the Innovation Lifecycle: Manage the entire process from prototyping predictive fault algorithms to deploying stable, impactful services in production.
Optimize Operational Excellence: Collaborate with Data Engineering and Support teams to establish robust systems.
