About the Role
In the role of Multi-Agent Mission Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing Guidance, Navigation, and Control algorithms that convert high-level mission objectives into actionable directives for autonomous robots and multi-agent systems. You will link state-of-the-art research with practical autonomy, ensuring our systems are both intelligent and reliable in real-world applications.
Responsibilities
Create algorithms that break down high-level missions into structured, solvable guidance tasks for autonomous robots.
Develop and enhance mission and path-planning frameworks for autonomous systems.
Establish scalable backend systems for mission guidance and execution.
Conduct simulations and validation campaigns to evaluate the consistency of autonomy across various mission scenarios.
Collaborate with AI/ML, backend, and product teams to ensure algorithms are efficient, testable, and deployable in real-time settings.
Candidate Requirements
Education: Ph. D. or M. S. in Aerospace Engineering, Robotics, Applied Mathematics, AI, or a related discipline. A Ph. D. focused on multi-agent systems or reinforcement learning is highly advantageous.
Experience in designing and deploying mission- or path-planning algorithms within aerospace, defense, or robotics sectors is a significant plus.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and C++. A deep understanding of autonomous decision-making, multi-agent coordination, and simulation frameworks is essential.
