We are seeking a Multiphysics & Data Scientist who is driven by a passion for innovation in energy storage. Ideal candidates should have a strong background in data science, physics, and engineering, with experience in multiphysics simulations and data analysis. Familiarity with battery technologies and materials science will be beneficial. Key qualifications include:Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or similar. Experience with multiphysics simulation software (e.g., COMSOL Multiphysics). Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively across departments.

What We Do:

  • We manufacture pure silicon anode rolls designed to integrate seamlessly into existing battery production lines, enabling our clients to achieve remarkable performance improvements or to innovate entirely new product categories.
  • Our initial focus lies in consumer electronics, with automotive applications already underway.
  • By utilizing semiconductor thin-film technology (plasma deposition) and scaling it for battery anodes, we tackle the longstanding challenges associated with silicon in batteries, ensuring durability and efficiency at industrial scale.

To meet soaring global demand, we are expanding:

  • PlantOne in Eindhoven is set to open in 2026, where we will produce anode rolls and validate our roll-to-roll production processes.
  • PlantTwo, our large-scale production facility, will follow, solidifying LeydenJar's position as a key player in the global battery market.
