Join Visa Technology & Operations LLC, a division of Visa Inc., as a Senior Software Engineer – Consultant level in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will:Lead the architecture, design, development, testing, and implementation of advanced software systems and applications while providing technical guidance to your team.Perform comprehensive business and technical analysis, conduct code reviews, execute unit testing, and generate technical documentation for new developments, system enhancements, and ongoing production support.Design, develop, and implement updates and fixes to existing software solutions, including the creation of debugging routines.Oversee the architecture, construction, and maintenance of extensive SharePoint server farms, ensuring alignment with both business and technical requirements such as high availability, disaster recovery, WAN optimization, load balancing, at-rest encryption, BLOB offloading, SSL, and Kerberos.Act as the technical lead for SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business initiatives.Create and deploy Visa-branded database solutions on SharePoint platforms.Address escalated issues related to SharePoint platforms, Office 365 (SharePoint Online & OneDrive), and other collaborative tools.Troubleshoot complex issues with OneDrive and sync clients.Serve as the technical lead for collaboration technology projects.Manage and resolve database and software incidents with Microsoft and other vendors as necessary.Diagnose and troubleshoot highly complex technical incidents involving multiple large SharePoint farms.Maintain SharePoint environments through command line tools and PowerShell, including the ability to write intricate PowerShell scripts for farm management and automation.Proactively monitor system health and performance while automating routine tasks.Guide employees and developers on governance and policies concerning SharePoint.Collaborate with developers and solution teams to design database and software integrations with other corporate applications and tools.This position reports to our Austin, Texas office and allows for partial telecommuting.
