About the Role: As a Network Consultant, you will be responsible for executing technical networking projects for our clients with the utmost quality, adhering to project scopes, budgets, and timelines. Your ability to quickly assess situations, identify risks to project timelines, and actively mitigate uncertainties will be crucial. Proficiency in Cisco, Arista, Aruba, and Fortinet or Palo Alto technologies is essential.
Note: Only Australian Citizens eligible for Australian Government Security Clearance may apply. Preference will be given to candidates with current Baseline or NV1 clearance.
Responsibilities:
- Enhance your professional expertise through exposure to a variety of technologies, aiming for certification.
- Foster productive internal and external relationships.
- Adhere to company and client policies consistently.
- Engage in projects that are properly defined and approved by clients.
- Utilize your expertise to design solutions that meet project specifications.
Qualifications:
- Over 5 years of experience focused on networking within the IT sector.
- CCNP or equivalent certification with skills in Cisco Routers and Switches, Cisco SD-WAN, and Cisco SDA (Catalyst Centre, DNAC).
- Advanced knowledge of network design, construction, support, and troubleshooting.
- Strong technical writing skills to produce design and support documentation for your solutions.
- Certification in at least two vendor technologies, preferably Cisco, Arista, Aruba, or Palo Alto at a Professional level or higher.
- Familiarity with Zscaler, ACI, Cisco Wireless, Load Balancers, and Cloud Networking is advantageous.
- Experience with MPLS networks and Fortinet Firewalls is preferred.
- Client-facing experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
- Demonstrated experience in project implementation.
