Security Clearance
Active TS/SCI clearance required, with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor IT personnel, fostering development and training.
- Serve as a subject matter expert by configuring and supporting the IT network environment, including servers, clients, routers, virtual private networks, switches, and firewalls.
- Systematically troubleshoot technical issues and complex application, system, and network problems, addressing availability, utilization, throughput, and latency.
- Plan and execute the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment.
- Develop and define IT policies and procedures.
- Provide management with feedback and reports on the status and availability of the IT network to ensure optimal function and identify trends.
- Maintain network performance through monitoring, analysis, and performance tuning.
- Analyze IT systems and prepare documentation related to performance, stability, interoperability, and lifecycle issues.
- Utilize various methods and techniques to assist in developing, implementing, and documenting impact assessments and architecture change recommendations.
- Enhance IT security by developing access controls, monitoring, and evaluation; maintaining documentation in accordance with DoD standards.
- Participate in designing and developing integrated solutions to meet customer requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Internet Protocols, communication protocols, and data/network security.
- Strong understanding of federal government security standards, including FISMA and NIST guidelines.
Additional Qualifications:
- Possession of current DoD 8570 IAT II certification and relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent.
