Your Role
As the Night Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest service quality across our portfolio during nighttime operations. This is an active position that requires hands-on problem-solving responsibilities including:
- Stabilizing client accounts
- Ensuring consistent execution of services
- Supporting Field Service Managers (FSMs) by proactively resolving issues before they impact clients
You will be the operational eyes and ears after hours, driving quality and performance.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday, 5:30 PM to 2:00 AM, with flexibility for emergencies and occasional weekend work.
Success Metrics
- Identifying and resolving issues before clients are aware
- Ensuring contractors are accountable and continuously improving
- Equipping FSMs with solutions to start their days positively
- Delivering services that consistently meet or exceed standards
Key Responsibilities
1. Proactive Quality Execution
- Conduct nightly inspections across priority accounts
- Address and rectify issues in real-time rather than just reporting them
- Ensure consistent execution of the scope of work
2. Contractor Management & Accountability
- Train and hold Independent Contractors (ICs) accountable to established standards
- Immediately address performance issues and escalate when necessary
- Ensure adequate staffing and resources for each account
3. FSM Support & Communication
- Provide concise nightly summaries of actions taken, beyond mere observations
- Identify risks early and suggest effective solutions
- Collaborate with FSMs to enhance account stability
4. New Starts & Problem Accounts
- Manage new account launches to create strong first impressions
- Assist in revitalizing troubled accounts with focused attention
- Deliver exceptional service where necessary
5. Supply & Operational Standards
- Ensure proper usage of chemicals, tools, and equipment
- Identify and communicate supply needs proactively
- Reinforce City Wide standards across all accounts
Physical Requirements
- Frequent walking, standing, and bending
- Capability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Traveling between multiple client locations during night shifts
