Join Alva Energy Inc., an innovative nuclear energy startup, as a Licensing Engineer. In this role, you will spearhead licensing activities and regulatory interactions aimed at enhancing the power output of the U. S. commercial nuclear power fleet. Collaborate with a dynamic team to craft regulatory strategies and documentation that support utilities in their license amendment applications for power uprates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft in-depth topical reports, license amendment requests, and other essential documents for submission to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).

  • Assist in project planning and management of regulatory engagement initiatives.

  • Ensure strict compliance with all applicable regulations, codes, and guidelines.

  • Develop and implement regulatory approaches tailored for power uprate projects.

  • Act as a liaison with utilities, the NRC, and various federal and state regulatory bodies.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

  • Engage in safety analysis processes and design efforts.

Required Qualifications
