In the role of NVH CAE Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting strength, stiffness, and fatigue assessments on various vehicle subsystems, including chassis, closures, body structure, and powertrain.
- Establishing correlations between testing and computer-aided engineering (CAE) results.
- Maintaining comprehensive and traceable documentation for all durability analyses and testing activities.
- Creating finite element method (FEM) meshes from CAD designs or rough sketches.
- Assisting design engineers in ensuring that components fulfill all durability specifications.
- Learning and utilizing a variety of CAE software tools (such as nCode Design Life, ANSA, MetaPost, OptiStruct, Hyperworks CAE products, and ADAMS).
- Testing and evaluating new analysis tools and methodologies, while contributing to the development of new CAE methods, process automation, and benchmarking tasks.
