Gopuff is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Operations Associates (OAs) to become vital members of our operations team in Southside Slopes, Pittsburgh. Reporting directly to a Site Leader, you will play a crucial role in our mission to deliver everyday essentials to customers, rain or shine, day or night. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of operational tasks such as picking and packing orders, receiving and organizing products, and collaborating with our partner drivers.

Responsibilities:
- Efficiently pick and pack items for customer dispatch
- Accurately receive and unpack pallets from vendors, ensuring inventory matches purchase orders
- Oversee inventory management and re-shelving of canceled orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and facility
- Adhere to FIFO practices to manage waste and spoilage
- Communicate with customers regarding substitutions or out-of-stock items
- Safely handle, scan, and move product while maintaining organization
- Engage in physical tasks including standing, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, reaching, and walking
- Utilize carts, pallet jacks, dollies, and other equipment for product movement
- Handle products that may include tobacco, nicotine, and/or alcohol
- Periodically work in freezer locations during shifts
- Walk several flights of stairs as needed throughout the day
- Prepare quality beverages and food items in accordance with recipes and presentation standards
- Ensure accuracy in food and beverage packaging for delivery
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products
- Receive and organize orders, resolving discrepancies related to expiration requirements
- Maintain kitchen organization and standards while managing waste responsibly
- Prepare, package, and stage orders for handoff
