Role overview

The Operations Associate will be the first in this role at Lucis, based in Paris. This position connects Lucis with its members and laboratory partners, handling both day-to-day communication and operational improvements.

What you will do

  • Enhance member experience:
    • Respond to member inquiries via email, chat, and phone using ticketing systems.
    • Maintain and update a macro library and tone guide.
    • Track customer satisfaction metrics.
    • Handle sensitive health-related conversations with care and professionalism.
  • Oversee lab partner relations:
    • Monitor service level agreements and prepare quarterly business reviews.
    • Visit collection centers in active markets to observe operations and meet staff.
    • Support onboarding for new partners and centers.
  • Bridge teams and improve operations:
    • Analyze ticket patterns and partner performance to spot systemic issues.
    • Work with Product and Engineering to resolve cross-functional challenges.
    • Help launch operations in new markets and with new partners.
    • Implement tools and automation to streamline workflows.

A typical week

  • Respond to around 200 member inquiries across multiple channels, maintaining a warm and sincere approach.
  • Spend time at a collection center in Île-de-France, observing sample handling and connecting with staff.
  • Conduct a quarterly business review with a partner, using dashboards you have built.
  • Revise the macro library to improve efficiency and clarity in communications.
