Core Operational Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule all maintenance activities for rooftop solar installations, including both planned and unplanned tasks, in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs) and contractual obligations; share proposed schedules with the Customer Service team for effective coordination.
- Oversee the execution of both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks by supervising technicians, ensuring that all work is completed thoroughly and adheres to established standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Communicate the results of maintenance activities to the Customer Service department to facilitate timely updates for clients.
- Compile and assess technical reports to address various requirements including client inquiries, warranty claims, and insurance submissions.
- Monitor and ensure the completion of warranty claims, liaising with vendors and suppliers, and provide recommendations for improvements based on the outcomes of claims.
- Manage and maintain an adequate inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment necessary for the operational team.
- Ensure effective tracking, follow-up, and closure of service tickets within the agreed SLA response times.
- Process vendor quotations and invoices in line with established workflows.
- Adhere to Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental (QSHE) standards in compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and relevant regulatory best practices.
Departmental Support Functions
- Provide both technical and non-technical support aimed at enhancing internal processes, such as the development of training modules, creation of standard operating procedures, and updates to existing SOPs.
- Collect feedback and evidence regarding design failures, installation quality issues, or material defects, escalating these concerns along with recommendations to the Division Lead or Manager.
- Assist with internal initiatives led by HR, QSHE, and other departments to foster teamwork, promote a culture of safety, and drive continuous improvement.
- Provide support to other regional or utility operations and maintenance teams as necessary, particularly during resource shortages or urgent support situations.
