Your work will span from sub-micron conventional imaging to laser scanning imaging and non-imaging optical power delivery. Your responsibilities will include:Designing and simulating optical imaging systemsTesting, verification, and maintenance of robotic vision systemsDeveloping custom laser interferometry and manufacturing systemsTesting and validating optical consumablesFabricating and testing beam-scanning instrumentsCreating image acquisition and processing softwareResearching and innovating new imaging technologies for robotic surgeriesPreparing essential documentation and SOPs for robot optics
