POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Production Test Technician, you will be instrumental in upholding the highest quality standards for our optical systems prior to their delivery to clients. This role encompasses testing optical equipment, conducting validation and system-level assessments, and resolving intricate technical issues. A successful candidate will possess extensive experience in both production and research & development settings and demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct thorough testing of optical equipment following established procedures and specifications.
  • Perform validation and system-level tests to confirm optimal functionality.
  • Diagnose and rectify issues with optical systems during testing, pinpointing electrical system problems and related software.
  • Adhere to detailed testing protocols and accurately document results in our systems.
  • Utilize MATLAB for data collection, coding, and analysis to enhance testing procedures.
  • Ensure test equipment and tools are well-maintained, calibrated, and operational.
  • Engage in root cause analysis of product failures, contributing insights from testing experiences.
  • Work independently while closely collaborating with the test engineering team to identify and suggest improvements in testing processes and efficiency.
