We are seeking a skilled Oracle Database Administrator who will play a pivotal role in managing our development, Quality Assurance (QA), and production database environments. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the production databases are highly available, recoverable, optimally tuned, and technologically current. You will also develop and maintain the logical data model and physical data schema for College Board products and services. Key responsibilities include planning, installing, configuring, and maintaining all database environments, supporting the Oracle EXADATA database system, and creating automation tools to enhance our database operations. You will implement industry best practices for security, recoverability, and reliability, while collaborating closely with our Software Engineering team to troubleshoot production databases and address issues promptly. Additionally, you will contribute to technical design decisions related to database utilization in internally developed applications and support capacity planning and system design integration.
