QUALIFICATIONS:Demonstrated experience as an Oracle DBA, with a profound understanding of Oracle database architecture, processes, and performance tuning. Familiarity with Oracle 19c and associated tools and technologies. Strong knowledge of database security, backup/recovery techniques, and disaster recovery planning. Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL scripting. Experience with Linux and Unix operating systems. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and capability to work independently or collaboratively. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with various stakeholders and documentation of processes.

DESCRIPTION: We are on the lookout for a seasoned Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to enhance our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in database management, adeptly overseeing the entire database lifecycle which includes installation, configuration, upgrades, and ongoing monitoring of Oracle databases.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software.
Conduct database tuning, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting to guarantee optimal performance.
Manage database security by establishing and maintaining roles, privileges, and user accounts.
Execute regular database backups and recovery operations to uphold data integrity and availability.
Formulate and uphold database disaster recovery strategies and procedures.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure database modifications meet business requirements.
Monitor and manage database storage, ensuring efficient utilization and forecasting future capacity needs.
Maintain compliance with database-related policies, procedures, and best practices.
Perform database patching and updates to ensure security and functionality.
Provide support for database-related issues, including after-hours assistance as required.
