Senior Consultant - Oracle Exadata

Preferred Qualifications• Minimum of 3 years' experience in developing requirement specifications grounded in Architecture/Design and detailed process analysis.• At least 2 years of hands-on expertise with Oracle Exadata-X3.• Familiarity with Oracle RAC (Real Application Cluster), OEM, RMAN, AWRRPT, OPATCH, RDA, and runInstaller.• Knowledge of Exadata components including OEDA, EXACHK, ILOM, Database Server, Storage Cell Server, Infiniband, and Automatic Storage Management (ASM) as well as GRID Control.• Responsible for installing, upgrading, maintaining, and supporting Oracle Instances on Exadata.• Setup and configure Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) tools for monitoring Oracle Database & Oracle Applications 11i & R12.• Create, monitor, and manage user tablespaces; establish users at both OS and Oracle levels.• Collaborate with Oracle Corp’s Platinum Services team to strategize, schedule, and coordinate patching of all Exadata environments.• Implement patch updates to the Exadata environment using rolling-patch methods when applicable.• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Development, Configuration, Solutions Evaluation, Validation, and Deployment.• Strong analytical and communication capabilities.• Effective planning and coordination skills.• Proven experience in project management.• Willingness and enthusiasm for working in a management consulting environment that involves regular travel.This role includes sitting and working at a computer for extended durations.
