Key Responsibilities

As an Owner Operator Driver with Altom Transport, you will serve as both a business owner and a valuable partner in our operations. Your responsibilities include:

  • Safe Transportation: Transporting chemical and petroleum products using tank trailers while strictly adhering to DOT regulations.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensuring your truck is in compliance with inspection standards and maintained for optimal performance during long hauls.
  • Loading & Unloading: Executing proper procedures for ISO/Flexi-Bag or Tanker operations at loading and delivery sites.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Keeping accurate logs, submitting necessary paperwork, and complying with Hazmat regulations.
  • Customer Service: Professionally representing Altom Transport at all customer locations.
  • Business Management: Overseeing fuel purchases, trip planning, and scheduling to maximize your revenue.
  • Consistently meeting mileage or hour requirements to contribute to overall operational success.
  • Availability for 24/7 operations as needed.
