As an Outside Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in managing our produce sales activities, ensuring our customers' needs are met, and driving profitability for Charlie’s Produce. This involves working closely with assigned accounts as well as collaborating with other sales personnel to deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stay updated on market trends and new product offerings.
- Develop pricing strategies and maintain effective order guides.
- Achieve company sales and profit targets.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of market conditions and agricultural practices.
- Present profitable solutions and programs to both potential and existing clients.
- Communicate effectively with buyers, operations teams, and sales support to fulfill customer needs.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with retailers, vendors, and colleagues.
- Assist in organizing special promotions and sales events.
- Support departmental changes and participate in grand openings as needed.
- Engage in special projects to enhance company operations and community well-being.
- Attend all scheduled sales meetings punctually.
- Manage sales performance for individual accounts.
- Ensure timely submission of all orders before cut-off times.
- Accurately process credit memos and related paperwork in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular product checks in the warehouse.
- Uphold quality standards and ensure food safety compliance.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
