We seek a passionate and driven individual who values teamwork and is eager to learn. You should be comfortable working with both animals and people, adaptable to new situations, and willing to think creatively. Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude are essential, as is the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and clients alike.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide compassionate and attentive care to each patient and client.
  • Carry out basic to intermediate nursing tasks, including patient monitoring and treatment.
  • Utilize knowledge of common veterinary conditions to accurately assess and triage incoming patients.
  • Administer medications through various routes while being aware of potential side effects.
  • Set up and manage intravenous fluid therapy, including blood transfusions.
  • Work collaboratively with the team in both outpatient and inpatient care settings.
  • Participate in patient rounds to maintain continuity of care.
  • Become proficient in CPR procedures as a RECOVER Certified Rescuer.
  • Assist in various veterinary procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
