About the Role iCapital Network is in search of a dedicated Fund Monitoring Associate to join our Fund Monitoring, Reporting, and Governance team. This role is pivotal in overseeing continuous investment monitoring for private market fund investments within the iCapital ecosystem. As time progresses, this position will also encompass delivering investment updates to internal stakeholders, wealth advisors, and their clients. Key Responsibilities Evaluate and monitor the performance of underlying funds across iCapital's private equity, private credit, and real asset sectors. Draft clear and concise investment updates, call summaries, and discussion points. Conduct performance analytics and financial modeling at the fund level. Stay informed about macroeconomic trends and developments through regular interactions with iCapital’s fund managers. Represent iCapital at Annual General Meetings (AGMs) to receive updates from fund managers. Effectively communicate investment updates to both internal and external stakeholders. Prepare analytical materials for Governance colleagues on select projects, including secondary sales and investment oversight. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree; progress towards CFA or CAIA is preferred. 2-5+ years of relevant experience in private markets, investment banking, asset management, or investment consulting is advantageous. Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities. Strong financial analysis and modeling expertise; proficiency in Excel is required, with familiarity in valuation methodologies (DCF, peer comps, etc.) being a plus. Genuine interest in and a willingness to deepen knowledge of the alternative investment landscape. Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Willingness to travel up to approximately 15% as necessary.
